This git instance is used for storing anything related to Purgatory or any other ROBLOX Safety tools, such as Rotector, and other tools.
Quick Disclaimer
You should always consider using the "3 2 1 protocol"
- 3 copies of your data
- Across 2 different mediums
- 1 of which being off site.
It is not guaranteed that this instance will stay up through 2036 (or longer), with inevitable down times and a possible shutdown in some cases. (though we'll try to host this to the best of our ability, not much for TGP has been expensive or resource-heavy!)
In the case of this happening, you will be sent archives of your public repositories and warned to make sure your private repositories are backed up (as we do not plan to back them up for you). If a shutdown occurs (in the case of our server provider not being able to host for us), multiple desperate attempts will be made to back up this data.
Registration
Users will be able to submit a google form with about 2-3 questions (which they are required to be in the Discord Server or have any other basis of contact with me)
They will then be contacted (preferably through DMs) with their login credentials. It is imperative that you change your password once logging into this account by heading to Settings -> User Details (Default) -> Change Your Password.
Offenses & Guidelines
You agree by having an account, your account can be taken down for any reason (though most of the time it'll be reasonable and/or a warning will be given ahead of time)
The Law!
You mustn't upload or mirror anything to our instance that breaks the United States Federal Law.
AI Usage
AIs will be classified as an LLM in this section, and any other "sub-genres" of AI will be disclosed (such as MLs)
If you are uploading to a public git repository (that has been created after the writing of this guideline; April 6th, 2026) you must classify the usage of LLMs involved in your project (it is optional, but you should also specify what the reason of this was)
Breaking this guideline can range from your repository being privated or taken down to your account being disabled (in the case it's a repeat offense)
This rule ensures transparency between you users who are viewing your project.
We Support AI Initiatives!
Initiatives like Brain-Made and NotByAI are allowed instead of an explanation on why your project was not made by AI and we classify these badges as anything less than "Troubleshooting" or "Research Based"
Of course you should follow these websites rules and research when implementing these badges into your projects, but just let that be known!
1. No AI usage
No usage of LLMs have been involved in your project, your what is seen in some eyes as a "perfect person" (who doesnt waste water haha lol im so funny right)
2. Research Based
One or multiple ideas behind the project have originated from an LLM. (this is not required)
3. Troubleshooting
This isn't required, but if you want to be honest with people reading your repository, you should anyway.
One or multiple errors were debugged with AI.
4. Assisted
The functionality of your app depends on an AI (either for first-hand functionality or human reviewed functionality). Projects like Rotector would fit under this classification, as most of it's detections come from an LLM.
5. Features
More than 2 features of your application are created with AI, this does not involve tutorials on how to use certain things.
6. Vibe-coded
Most, if not all of your project, is made or assisted by an AI. (if you'd want a specific percentage, i'd say more than 25% of AI content would be a good marking for this)
